I’m taking a short break from posting blogs.
In my round of up last year I alluded to some big changes on the horizon for me this year. I’ve just finished my job at the University and will be starting imminently as a full-time Pastor at a church in Alton, Hampshire. The church is part of the Commission network of churches, which is part of Newfrontiers.
We’ve also just managed to arrange our house move for a couple of weeks after that. I’m excited about where the Lord has been leading us, this has been in the works for about a year now; we’ve been chewing over what Jesus would have us do next for longer than that.
I don’t intend to stop writing, but the next couple of weeks look chaotic. I’m hoping I’ll find time to write in amongst all the travelling, in which case I’ll build up my buffer that allows for ‘cold takes.’ That has been a little eroded recently. However it’s possible I don’t find the time so my intention isn’t to post much, or at all, until we’re settled.
At the latest I’ll be back posting twice a week in April. I’m also not sure what my writing rhythm will look like, but I’m going to attempt the same output at least to begin with. Thanks for sticking with me, especially to my Patreon supporters.
If you’re a regular reader, while I’m pausing why not drop me a message via my contact page to let me know which of the things I write about you appreciate reading about the most.
